On Saturday, May 2nd, Fairmount Pet Shoppe will host a dog adoption event with Pittie of Love rescue group from 11 AM to 3 PM. Pittie of Love is a non-profit, Philadelphia based, animal welfare organization dedicated to matching adoptable animals with the right homes and promoting the humane treatment and training of all animals. They have a soft spot for pit bull type dogs, since they are often misunderstood and have a great need for rescue.
